wow... hard to believe it already been one year since our first 'we can't call it halloween at the school but we want everyone to dress up so we are going to call it something else' fall festival. kind of silly but the younger kids really love it and get totally dressed up. we start the festival with a costume parade and then the kids go around to different stations. mine is the melon relay. yes... kids racing with melons.
my favorite part of the day was olive dressed in her pumpkin outfit.
the bishkek adventure
although "our story" as a couple originated in 2006... the bishkek adventure officially began in july of 2008 when jennifer and i accepted teaching positions at an international school in bishkek, kyrygzstan. we started this blog with the hope that it would be an entertaining and accurate catalog of our years living abroad. although we are back in the states now after two years in central asia and our life is not nearly as exotic or exciting... we are keeping the blog going writing for our friends, families and for our first born child, olivia (olive) annmarie conover, who blessed us with her arrival on monday, august 24 at 2:15pm.

Olive is always dressed up! Either she'll become a super model and love it or she'll deny all of it and become a gothic lady... I'm curious! Btw, your job looks so wonderful! But be fun to work this kind of job.
ReplyDeleteShe looks adorable in her little pumpkin outfit. I love the daisy headband on her little round head. Too cute! Looks like all the kiddos had fun!
