the bishkek adventure


although "our story" as a couple originated in 2006... the bishkek adventure officially began in july of 2008 when jennifer and i accepted teaching positions at an international school in bishkek, kyrygzstan. we started this blog with the hope that it would be an entertaining and accurate catalog of our years living abroad. although we are back in the states now after two years in central asia and our life is not nearly as exotic or exciting... we are keeping the blog going writing for our friends, families and for our first born child, olivia (olive) annmarie conover, who blessed us with her arrival on monday, august 24 at 2:15pm.

baby photos


we had a doctor's appointment on friday after school and were able to see 4-d photos of olive. we are that much closer to knowing that olive is olive and not oliver... but again she had her little legs crossed (she is such a lady) so it was hard to see a penis. i think that if we were having a son you would REALLY be able to see the penis.

it was amazing to see her. most of you will just look at the photos and say "huh... what am i looking at?" to us... she is already the most beautiful girl in the world.

in the 4-d photos you can really see the face. our doctor took one look and said "she really has jen's smile"... which is true as she smiles ear to ear just like jenny.
