this is the week that olive discovered here feet. it started when we put he in the bumbo - this foam chair that our friend lauren gave us. olive loves sitting up in it and watching us as cook dinner or are sitting down to eat. it is pretty fun as she is so attentive. you can be out of her line of vision and call out to her and she will turn her head to find you. she has been pretty aware of her hands for about a month now - but just since the bumbo she has noticed her toes. she will stare at them... look at her hands... and then try to reach down and grab her feet. it is so cute and so much fun to watch.
even being sick - she is such a happy, smiley baby.
the bishkek adventure
although "our story" as a couple originated in 2006... the bishkek adventure officially began in july of 2008 when jennifer and i accepted teaching positions at an international school in bishkek, kyrygzstan. we started this blog with the hope that it would be an entertaining and accurate catalog of our years living abroad. although we are back in the states now after two years in central asia and our life is not nearly as exotic or exciting... we are keeping the blog going writing for our friends, families and for our first born child, olivia (olive) annmarie conover, who blessed us with her arrival on monday, august 24 at 2:15pm.
